Churches Sub-Culture Documentary

About 4 months ago, I went on a walk with my then 2 yr old son. We came across this lady, who bent down to his level and said, Oh are you new? Will you be in Nursery this weekend? I and said, Oh no, we won’t be attending church this weekend. She looked at me funny so for some reason, I felt the need to explain, Oh I’m not from here, We’re Not LDS. Her, “Oh well that’s the norm around here.” comment was hilarious. She then just stood there, waiting for my comment, and I just smiled, and said, Oh I know, but we’re not LDS so we don’t attend your church, we actually attend a different Christian church. She said nothing, only turned away, and started walking towards her house.

There was a baptist church that was almost completely bare aside from a few major Icons. A cross on the outside of the church, one made of stained glass inside the church, and a giant Holy Bible on the table in the middle of the Pulpit. It was as if they needed nothing else. :)
One of the churches, has an event, that almost everyone in the state attends once a year, The Hare Krishna Temple. I ended up being able to go, when they had an actual service in session, and it was awesome to see what the service was like. There were so many more people there than I would have expected and there was just a unison that hit you once you walked in.

I went to different churches in Utah County including the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orem. As I shot, I met this lady, Julie. Who was just so excited to tell me anything and everything about things that maybe to the normal eye, would be ignored.
